For heavy metal analysis of soil, China Tencan has developed a set of special grinding equipment including soil grinder and sieve shaker. Soil grinder is equipped with four agate mill jars. Pressure inside the sealed agate jars can be set by using a graduated scale, and each mill jar rotates in reverse around its own axis while the planetary disc is making revolution. The samples inside the mill jars collide and rub with each other during high-speed movement, achieving purpose of crushing, grinding, mixing, and dispersing the samples. Soil grinder can be used used for dry , wet, or vacuum grinding. Two or four mill jars can be operated simultaneously at one time.
