The motor of laboratory rod mill is driven by the reducer and the surrounding small & big gears, or the low-speed synchronous motor is directly driven by gears to drive the cylinder to rotate. An appropriate amount of grinding medium-steel rod is loaded inside the cylinder, under the action of centrifugal force and frictional force, the grinding medium is lifted to a certain height and falls down in a state of throwing or leaking. The materials are continuously delivered into the cylinder through the feeding port, and are smashed、sheared and crushed by the moving grinding medium, and the crushed materials are squeezed out of the cylinder by force of overflowing and continuous feeding for the next processing.
